Surgical Steel 6mm Flat Pad Post Earrings with Clear Rubber Ear Nuts, 40/Pkg are suitable for most people to wear. This pack contains 40 posts and 40 ear wire guards (ear nuts) (20 complete pairs).
Size: 6mm flat pads, 12mm posts, 0.8mm ear pin and 4mm x 4mm ear nuts with .5mm hole.
Surgical grade is 316L stainless steel and resists tarnish, oxidation, rust, discoloration and corrosion.

The posts and pads are manufactured from surgical grade stainless steel, non-tarnish, hypoallergenic metal and the ear wire guards (ear nuts) are hypoallergenic plastic. This pack contains 40 pieces (20 pairs).

Technique Tip:
Secure posts by enclosing the stainless steel pad on the underside with a thin layer of polymer clay.
- Glue the earring back to the back of the main decorative piece with super glue eg. Loctite Gel Control or Lisa Pavelka’s Poly Bonder (which has been designed to withstand baking) and allow to dry for 5 minutes before proceeding.
- Cut a circle from thinly rolled clay (in a matching colour to the main decorative piece).
- Centre the smaller piece over the earring post and carefully press down to conceal the pad and attach to the back of the earring clay. A little liquid between the layers clay will help this to bond securely.
- Cure as usual.
