Technique Tip:
Secure posts by enclosing the pad on the underside with a thin layer of polymer clay.
- Glue the earring back in place with super glue like Loctite Gel Control or Lisa Pavelka’s Poly Bonder (which has been designed to withstand baking) and allow to dry.
- Using a 6mm cutter, cut a circle from thinly rolled clay (in a matching colour to the main decorative piece).
- Centre the smaller piece over the earring post and carefully press down to conceal the pad and attach to the back of the earring clay. A little liquid between the layers clay will help this to bake securely.
- Bake as usual.
