Surgical Steel 4mm Flat Pad Post Earrings with Peg & Clear Rubber Ear Nuts, 40/Pkg are suitable for most people to wear and have a little peg on the pad for gluing on polymer creations or half drilled pearls etc.
This pack contains 40 posts and 40 ear nuts (20 complete pairs).
Size: 5mm flat pads, 13 x .0.7mm posts, 3mm pin for gluing bead or polymer piece on and 4 x 4mm clear rubber ear nuts.
Surgical grade is 316L stainless steel and resists tarnish, oxidation, rust, discoloration and corrosion.

Surgical Steel 4mm Flat Pad Post Earrings with Peg & Clear Rubber Ear Nuts, 40/Pkg will not tarnish and can be worn by most people.
Technique Tips:
If the peg is too long and will protrude through the front of the bead, trim the peg back with flush cutters.
- Bake or cure the earring front (the piece that will have the stud mounted on the back).
- Par drill a hole using a tiny drill bit into the back of the piece for the peg to go into.
- Use a tiny amount of Loctite Gel Control on the peg and flat pad. Working quickly, insert the peg into the par drilled hole.
- Leave to dry,
- A further security measure is recommended – cover the flat pad with a thin circle of clay and bake / cure again.
