Sparkle Gold Pearl Ex Mica Powder, 3gm

Safe, pearlescent, non-toxic, inert, powdered pigment that exhibits extreme colorfastness and stability making it ideal for interior and archival applications. It has a use for every artist, from water colourist to auto painter, faux finisher to rubber stamper. It creates a metallic look without being metal. It will not tarnish or fade. The different particle sizes produce different looks, from a pearly luster to a highly metallic sheen.

Works extremely with polymer clay.  Apply to plain or textured clay with a brush or fingertip for spectacular results.  Bake as usual.  For pieces that will get a lot of wear, sealing is recommended so it does not rub off.  Pearl Ex Varnish is an excellent sealant for Pearl Ex powders.  Cernit varnishes or any of the liquid clay’s are another way it can be sealed.
