Lumiere Luster – Diamond Silver Metallic Fine Flake (Low Temp)

Lumiere Lusters™ – Diamond Silver Metallic Fine Flake (Low Temp) by JetAge Studio are specialty colour shifting, heat resistant metal oxide powders and flakes that work glittery magic in polymer clay and a multitude of other mediums.

Polymer Clay Instructions:

Lumiere Lusters™ are incredibly versatile and because they’re heat resistant, work exceptionally well with polymer clays, adding intense colour and shimmer to pieces.

Simply lightly rub the powders or flakes onto the surface of raw clay with a fingertip or brush before curing. You can also add these powders to resin projects or transparent paint mediums. A black background gives a stunning result.

Although they adhere very well to clay, a protective coating (eg transparent liquid clay, Pearl Ex Varnish, Sculpey or Fimo Glaze etc) for items that will be handled a lot maybe required.  Seal with resin or Magic Glos to add a glass like appearance to finished objects.

Lumiere Lusters™ – Diamond Silve Metallic Fine Flake (Low Temp). are made with real fine silver!. In the example shown here (by Renee Wiggins of JetAge Studio) the flakes were burnished onto the clay surface, then pressed into a handmade mould producing a lovely silver finish.

Note: A face mask is recommended when using the Lusters as they are extremely light and floaty.
