Dorland’s Wax Medium by Jacquard is a translucent compound of waxes and resin that can be mixed with oil paint, powdered pigments, powdered metals, coloured sands, dyes and other compatible fine art materials. Excellent for encaustic painting, hot or cold wax painting and mixed media. Also use as a protective coating for paintings, wood, plastic, metal projects or photos.

Dorland’s Wax Medium is a museum-quality, matte finish protective coating. It is unsurpassed for cleaning and preserving antiques, woodcarvings, bronze, plastics, and other items worth protecting. For use over paintings, photos, picture frames apply by rubbing wax over surface. Let harden for up to several days then buff with a soft cloth.
This package contains one 120ml (4oz) jar of wax medium.
WARNING FLAMMABLE: Do Not Heat Above 165 Degrees. Made in USA.
To polish polymer clay:
Use sparingly, rub lightly, & buff to a hard transparent finish.
Tip:
May be thinned to a flowing consistency with odorless mineral spirits or heat (no higher than 74oC)
